The law of gravity is a harsh mistress.
Sorry for your loss.

Remove the screen and you’ll have a slim line desktop with battery back up

I never liked the laptop anyways. So, thanks I guess, gravity.

I lost my balance on the “up” escalator, and fell down the stairs for an hour.

What’s broken on it? Was it running at the time?

I just don’t know anything about building or repairing laptops and I don’t think it’d be worth it.

The real news here is that you fell upward against the force of gravity. Research that shit and patent it, then buy all the laptops you want with your money.

Damn...was hoping it was off as, if it wasn’t running, you might’ve been able to get your data back off of it...does it do anything now when you try and turn it on?

Razer Blade Stealth if you’re of the means.
Signature laptop with a touch screen from Microsoft Store (online or in-person) otherwise. No bloatware is delightful! Plus free reward points.

Yeah it still runs but I’ve gotten 3 or 4 BSODs and terrible terrible freezes and application crashes. Definitely smacked the HDD up and who knows if everything else is toast or not. The HDD is making a bunch of weird noises too. I backed up everything so that when the HDD goes I’m not SOL.

I *think* I’m gonna buy a desktop next. I had the laptop because of college and now that I’m out it usually just sits in the same place anyway. I’m sorta into gaming so I was considering an HP OMEN 870-100xt. It’s about $950 and seems like a pretty good deal to someone who isn’t alllllll that literate when it comes to PC hardware.

Checked out the RBS. Looks pretty sweet but it’s a little out of my price range. I’m looking for a good deal in the area of $1000.

Yeah, sounds like the drive us kaput...flood and run a program called CrystalDiskInfo if you want to know for sure if you can get the laptop to run long enough.
It reads the HDD’s built-in S.M.A.R.T. Diagnostics and will show you any errors.

Keep an eye out, lots of daily specials on MicrosoftStore.com, NewEgg, Amazon, TigerDirect, MicroCenter, and even the manufacturer’s direct websites. ‘Tis the season companies want you to buy stuff to make room for next year’s stuff.
